Ken Wydajewski, a metal fabricator based in Northern Virginia, has a passion for design and building. Obsessed with craftsmanship and optimal performance, he makes custom metal furniture and architectural elements for residential and commercial clients.

 

His passion revolves around imagine-design-create. Ken believes in challenging the status quo. He develops beautiful furniture using state-of-the-art fabrication, welding, and finishing equipment in concert with advanced design/modeling software suites. A USN Veteran with extensive field experience in austere maritime/terrestrial environments spanning decades, Ken actively employs 'Made in USA' tools and machinery. He collaborates with local artisans and technology leaders on custom projects and unique applications.

 

A Professional Engineer in Virginia, Ken’s relationships with key industry leaders spans over a decade in the areas of fusion welding, computer-aided design, analysis and simulation, and fabrication processes. Always discovering, learning, and improving. A movement combining technical tradecraft, civil/mechanical engineering, and core skills development.

 

Ken's metal furniture fuses metallics, wood, glass, and polymers into the styles of Art Deco, Industrial, Vintage, and Streamline Moderne.  He leaves a lasting impression on his clients through his creativity and approach in blending multiple materials, shapes, and forms into the designed object.

When not perfecting his shopcraft, Ken explores the outdoors by mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking/rucking with his loving family and friends.
