Art Deco Style

: (1920-1945) Architectural style reflected modern technology, characterized by smooth lines, geometric shapes, vertical lines with setbacks, and streamlined forms with bright colors. Showcased scientific progress, and the consequent rise of commerce, technology, and speed.

Coffee Table

Designed in classic Art Deco lines this furniture build combines hollow structural sections (HSS) steel and high-definition (low-iron) glass surfaces and/or wood tops for a floating design. All connections are TIG brazed in Silicon Bronze filler and blended smooth for a clean and streamlined look. The steel framing is bronze powdercoated for a warm, resilent, and timeless finish. Vertical lines and setbacks, defining characteristics of the Art Deco style, echo throughout the piece.

The 36in x 36in x 16in table, weighing 75 lbs, was designed/modeled in SolidWorks 3D to explore shape/form and to accelerate the layout and fabrication phases.

Residential client located in Northern Virginia.

Industrial Modern Style

These 42in diameter x 29in high tables weigh 90 lbs and have built-in umbrella supports.

Modeled in SolidWorks parametric design software to explore shape/form and streamline the fabrication phase.

A complete set of eight (8) tables entering fabrication phase for a commercial client located in historic Leesburg, VA.
